I Don’t Think We Were Designed for This Much Stress
How to stay healthy in a world that never slows down
I don’t think we were designed to live like this.
Day after day, constant pressure, constant noise, constant demands—and not much time to recover.
And sooner or later, it starts to show.
Most of us don’t think much about stress.
We just live with it.
One day rolls into the next. We handle what’s in front of us, get things done, and try to keep up. But if we’re honest, there’s not a lot of real recovery happening anymore.
And I see it everywhere.
People aren’t just tired—they’re struggling.
Struggling to make it through the day.
Struggling to get out of a chair.
Sometimes even struggling just to walk from their car to the house.
That shouldn’t be normal.
And I don’t believe it has to be.
The Kind of Stress We Live With Now
A problem showed up. Your body responded. Then it passed, and you recovered.
That’s how we were designed.
Today, it’s different.
The stress doesn’t stop.
It’s not one big event—it’s everything:
- Poor sleep
- Processed food
- Screens late at night
- Sitting too much
- Constant pressure and distraction
It just keeps stacking up. Pouring onto us continually.
And most days, we don’t give our bodies the time or the support they need to recover.

The Wear and Tear You Don’t See
It’s simply the wear and tear on your body from living in a constant state of stress.
Your body has a natural balance point—a place where things are working the way they should.
But when stress never lets up, you slowly drift away from that balance.
Not all at once.
Little by little.
Until one day, something doesn’t feel right.
Why Being Proactive Matters
Most people wait until something breaks before they pay attention.
But by then, they’re trying to undo years—sometimes decades—of imbalance.
That’s a hard road.
I’ve come to believe we need to be more proactive with our health on a daily basis.
Not extreme. Not complicated.
Just consistent.
Because the truth is, we’re dealing with more than ever before—and doing nothing different isn’t going to lead anywhere good.
Looking in the Right Direction
We spend a lot of time focusing on the outside—what we eat, what we do, how we look.
But real health starts on the inside.
At the cellular level.
That’s where your body decides:
- How it responds to stress
- How it repairs
- How it detoxifies
- How well it functions overall
Everything works outward from there.
Even our skin—what we see on the outside—is often just a reflection of what’s going on inside.
Your Body Is Designed to Adapt
Your body isn’t broken.
It’s incredibly capable.
It was designed to adapt, repair, and take care of itself.
But it needs support—especially in the world we live in now.
We’re probably not going to eliminate the stress.
The real goal is to help the body adapt to it better.
Supporting the Body From the Inside Out
At the cellular level—supporting the body from the inside out.
Over the years, I’ve found that the ASEA Redox Cell Signaling Supplement has been an important part of that for me.
What I appreciate about it is that it’s not focused on one symptom or one area. It’s designed to support cellular communication—helping the body do what it was already created to do.
That idea of working at a foundational level just makes sense to me.
When your cells communicate well, your body is better able to:
- Handle stress
- Recover from strain
- Maintain balance over time
I don’t see it as a quick fix.
I see it as part of a long-term approach to supporting the body.
What I’ve Noticed Along the Way
RENU28 has been great for my skin. It’s one of those things where you start to notice that what’s happening on the outside really is connected to what’s going on inside.
And I’m still learning about REDOXGold, but I have a feeling over time I’ll be just as thankful for how it supports my joint and muscle recovery.
None of this replaces the basics—but it can support them in a meaningful way.
It’s Not Just One Thing
It’s about a way of living.
Simple things, done consistently:
- Getting better sleep
- Moving your body every day
- Spending time outside
- Eating more real food
- Giving your body what it needs to function
These aren’t complicated ideas.
But they matter more than most people realize.
A Simple Picture to Remember
Stress is constantly pouring in.
For a while, everything seems fine.
Then one day… it overflows.
That’s when people finally take it seriously.
But what if you were doing small things every day to empty that bucket?
You’d stay ahead of the problem.
That’s what being proactive looks like.
There’s More Hope Than You Think
The body can recover.
It can repair.
It can come back stronger than you expect.
But it doesn’t happen by accident.
And it usually doesn’t happen overnight.
It happens when you start paying attention…
when you start making small changes…
and when you stay consistent over time.
Final Thought
But that doesn’t mean we’re stuck.
If we start supporting the body from the inside out…
if we stay consistent with simple daily habits…
if we focus on resilience instead of quick fixes…
We give ourselves a much better chance not just to live longer—
…but to live well.
